Doing DC3 (R54+) will be a massive switch flipped, enabling Faceless/Dragons to generate income at a rate unrivalled. If you can, wait until you unlock A1325 before doing it, possibly at end of R53. While DC1 (R48+) is not difficult to clear and has a helpful reward for a while, DC2 (R51+) sucks at both, so opening up DC3 is its only redeeming purpose that makes it a factor. Dragons alone are powerful, even if that spell is so inconsistent. They aren't free and uses high costs though, so you should be able to get used to it as it is a lot like researches pre-A: Run production build for low gems at 0 and onwards, then step into research at higher gems. Titans stay strong, but dragon researches are a thing. I had so much trouble with this that I will not try to pretend I know how to, but it's worth knocking all of it out in R46. To go through the process of unlocking dragons, read a different guide. Also, did I mention you should get Colorful Autocasting? **Notes**: For me, I needed t2 spells to advance to R46, and t3 to comfortably move onto R54. (It might be a bit late, but the time requirement is same for every spell.) use a calculator) just to get one second per second, and when you do tiers you would want to get all the spells up anyway in the faction you will need. You can accumulate time offline, but it costs a lot of mana (. To find out how much time is needed for your current R (it does change accordingly), use this sheet generator: At this point, it's time to bite the bullet and grind spell tiers: Accumulate enough spell casting time for a spell this R, and the next tier will be enabled. I simply played by stealing builds and running into walls, you can too!Įventually gem production slows down to a grind, and just going trophy hunting might not be enough to cut it. Since Titans makes them cheaper, they are a great option early on, and using Titans should be the best from zero gems onwards for most of post-A.Īlso, a lot of mana research upgrades are strong now since it's not halted as badly as production, and Druid suddenly becomes the only bloodline worth using, exactly because of that.Īlso, this guide is episodic, so if you don't want the gameplay spoiled for you, or if you hate my writing style (sorry), you can always stop before a new chapter to figure it out for yourself. The fact that production and bonuses are watered down so much means that Halls of Legends almost always leads in production, regardless of the faction. **Post Ascension**: "Prismatic Mana" (I recommend finishing the grind before R46, and the earlier you attempt it the easier it is to mitigate any errors from overshooting too much by Reincarnating), "Colorful Autocasting" (basically free after you get "Tiered Autocasting", which is basically mandatory eventually), Artifact "Wall Fragment" **Helpful to have:** Challenges with good rewards (especially the ones that applies to titans), more Artifacts (pre-R46 the max should be around 48?), "Iron Rush" (trivial after Stoic, can also be done post-A), any remaining trophies you bother to get **Before Ascension**, you want to have: "Stoic Resistance", "No Recruiting" (both can be done within a ~R35 run, Stoic is very hard post-Ascension) Most upgrades you used to have becomes free, as well as researches! (The research crafting game changes a lot.) Mana doesn't change a lot though, and will become more and more powerful as you progress. Lower gems means you'll have to push through a few Rs to make as high of production as you used to have, and some trophies like Stoic Resistance become figuratively impossible. The building cost multipliers also goes down. You get a lot less income (also you get diamond instead of gold, how cool is that?) and numbers become a lot lower, so you'll have to get used to it. Getting information about it can be a bit daunting with a lot of meta gaming happening, so I aim to craft the minimum handbook you need to survive being stuck in space. You know how some games end with you building a rocket and flying into space, having that be the end game goal? This is how Ascension feels, the problem is that the game doesn't end there.
